Family Comes First
Our founders have always believed that family comes first. For us, that means creating a culture where people can build a serious career without feeling like life outside work has to fit around the edges of it. The support is both formal and informal: enhanced parental support, fertility and miscarriage leave, compassionate leave around bereavement, flexibility for caring responsibilities and the freedom to be there for important family moments, from school events to medical appointments.
A lot of it comes down to trust. If something important is happening at home, people are supported to deal with it without having to turn every situation into a policy conversation.
It’s good for clients too. People are more likely to stay, build deeper knowledge of their businesses and maintain stronger relationships over time when they feel genuinely supported through the different stages of life.

Enhanced maternity and paternity pay, paid antenatal leave and a salary-sacrifice nursery scheme help make having children more financially manageable. We also offer paid fertility and miscarriage leave, plus flexibility around caring responsibilities, school events and family medical appointments. Every new Joint baby receives a sheepskin from the agency, a small tradition that has become part of how we welcome the newest additions to the wider Joint family.
