Life at Joint
Collaboration at Joint is designed into the agency, not left to chance. We create lots of ways for people to mix beyond their immediate teams, build relationships across disciplines and spend time together away from the work itself. That means people know each other, trust each other and are more likely to share ideas or bring different perspectives into the room.
There are no private offices or departmental silos at Joint. Everyone sits together around one very long table, which keeps different disciplines and levels close to each other and makes collaboration much more immediate.
Thursday Lunches: Every Thursday, the whole agency sits down for lunch together. It gives people regular time with Jointers outside their own accounts and teams, and it’s become enough of a fixture that some of our clients deliberately schedule meetings to coincide with it, knowing they’re welcome to pull up a chair and join us.
Joint Day: An annual chance to get everyone out of the day-to-day, reconnect around where we’re going and spend proper time together. There’s usually a competitive element too, with cross-agency teams deliberately mixed beyond the people they work with every day.
Joint's Summer Party: A full day out together with unlimited food, live music and no agenda beyond spending time with each other away from the office. One of the bigger moments in the Joint calendar and a chance for the whole agency to properly switch off together.
Vibe Tribe: Our employee-led social crew creates reasons to spend time together outside the usual agency setting, from picnics and comedy to axe throwing, with activities deliberately designed not to revolve solely around alcohol.
