Mission Patches

Inspired by the embroidered badges made for space missions, our design team creates a new Joint Mission Patch every year.

Each one has a completely different design, capturing something about Joint and the year we’ve had together, but every patch carries the same Latin motto: Nemo omnia responsa habet, or “No one has all the answers.” It’s a longstanding Joint belief, reflecting the idea that the best answers come from bringing different people, disciplines and perspectives together.

They’ve become a small but important part of our culture: something people look forward to, keep and wear, and a distinctly Joint way of marking another year together. They sit alongside more practical recognition too, with holiday allowance increasing with each year's tenure and a four-week paid sabbatical after ten years.
